Retail Business Manager – Perfumes & Cosmetics Industry

As one of the leading purveyors of contemporary luxury, our client focuses on two activities: fashion and fragrances-cosmetics. Known as the ultimate chic everywhere in the world, they promote aristocratic French style, nourished by culture. An opportunity has now arisen for a Retail Business Manager to work on their counter, based in Harrods.
This is the ideal opportunity for someone with management experience and a luxury goods background looking to develop their career with a leading beauty brand.
As a Retail Business Manager, you will be responsible for maximising sales of the company’s wholesale and retail business in accordance with their sales and marketing plan.
You will be required to ensure sales performance for accounts based within the store is in line with set targets. Training and developing the consultant team is also intrinsic to your role.
You will be tasked with:
- Achieving total account retail sales by product category
- Maintaining stocks to agreed levels and ensuring counters are merchandised
- Ensuring the development of commercial opportunities in store and supporting all sales and marketing activities
- Presenting monthly business reviews and competitor activity
- Controlling the agreed budget and allocations within targets
To be considered for the role of Retail Business Manager, you must have:
- Management experience
- Experience in the luxury goods industry
Additionally, you must possess excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team. Acute attention to detail and strong organisational skills are also key.
Although not essential, experience in the perfumes and cosmetics industry would be a distinct advantage to your application.
